A Decade of Listening – Songs

I’ve written elsewhere about the difficulty of compiling a decade-end list of the most essential albums and songs, so I won’t repeat myself except to say this: The following is a list of the 500 songs that I found myself returning to throughout the 2010s. They may not necessarily be the best songs, or the most important, or even my favourite songs. But they are some combination of the three, and they are the 500 songs that defined the decade for me.
